LAS VEGAS, NV, Feb. 18, 2013 – Desert Diamond Industries, manufacturers of the Fire Rescue Safety Blade used by major fire departments like the New York City Fire Department (FDNY), will exhibit their diamond blades at the Firehouse World 2013 conference in Booth 450, Hall H at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA from Feb. 20 to Feb. 21.

The FDNY has used Fire Rescue Safety Blades to extricate survivors and clear wreckage from numerous accidents, including a March 12, 2011 tour bus crash on the New England Thruway that killed 14 passengers. Other major departments using Fire Rescue Safety Blades include the FDNY’s SOC Unit, Los Angeles County, CA, Philadelphia, PA, Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, Houston, TX, St. Louis, MO, Memphis, TN and, in Canada, Calgary, AB, Edmonton, AB, Burnaby, BC, London, ON and Hamilton, ON.
