Highlights from the Tri-State Seminar On-The River

29th Annual Tri-State Seminar On The RiverThe Tri-State Seminar On-The-River is still going over at the South Point Casino as I write this, but it’s over for exhibitors like us. We had a great time the last two days, met a lot of great people, and took a lot of… well, let’s just say our photos from the conference are barely ready for prime-time and leave it at that.

Here’s some of the best.

Our booth girl Lexi Young, one of the most popular people in our booth! She’s shown here at the second day of the conference, holding up the Husqvarna K970 Gas Ring Saw (without blade).

The first day of the conference, salesman Glen Hellebrand took several conference goers out behind the South Point Convention Center for a live demonstration of the Ductile Iron Ring Saw Safety Blade.

What’s the point of having a booth girl if your customers can’t get their photos taken with her?

29th Annual Tri-State Seminar On The RiverWant in on a little secret?

We didn’t think that we’d meet so many people at the Tri-State Seminar On-The-River yesterday. Don’t get us wrong; we loved meeting each and every one of you there. We just didn’t expect to meet all of you at once (or at least that’s how it seemed at times).

We’ll plunge back in for the final day of exhibits at 2:30 p.m. PDT today, and we’ll post our convention photos here once the exhibit hall closes for good at 6:30 p.m. PDT. Stop back here for more!

You can sample some of yesterday’s madness here.

3:19 p.m.: Our booth girl Lexi Young somehow survived being cooped up in a 10′ x 10′ booth with us for two days, and with her sanity intact, no less. She’s a real trouper! Here she is showing off the Husqvarna K970 Gas Ring Saw (without blade).

4:04 p.m.: The Tri-State Seminar On-The-River wasn’t nearly as crowded today, but we still managed to fill up our booth plenty of times.

5:53 p.m.: Lexi was a popular addition to our booth. Nicholas snapped a photo of her with Jason and Raul.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LAS VEGAS, NV, Aug. 22, 2013 – Desert Diamond Industries, the largest supplier of diamond blades to water departments in North America, will exhibit their diamond blades at the Tri-State Seminar On-The-River, to be held by the Arizona Water Association, California Water Environment Association and Nevada Water Environment Association in Las Vegas, NV. They will be at Booth 1222 in the South Point Hotel Casino and Spa from Sept. 24 to Sept. 26 (download a convention program and map in PDF format).

Desert Diamond Industries will exhibit their full line of Safety Blades, including the Ductile Iron Ring Saw Safety Blade and the Ductile Iron Safety Blade, as well as a wide range of concrete and asphalt blades, Husqvarna cut-off saws and ICS chain saws.

Nicholas Mione, owner of Desert Diamond Industries, said that the Tri-State Seminar would give his company a chance to meet face-to-face with its West Coast customers. He added that many of these water companies didn’t attend the ACE13 conference in Denver, CO, the last water industry convention that Desert Diamond Industries attended.

“It’s going to give us an opportunity to network and meet with our West Coast clients and promote the latest innovations to the water industry,” Mione said.

Founded in Las Vegas, NV in 2008 by Nicholas Mione and Gionni Mione, Desert Diamond Industries is now the largest supplier of diamond blades to governmental agencies in the United States and Canada. Up to 90 percent of water and underground utilities, fire departments and foundries in these two countries use Desert Diamond Industries’ signature Ductile Iron Safety Blade and Fire Rescue Safety Blade.
